Meet the Horses

  • X Mario

“Mario” is a 2019 Holsteiner gelding currently competing at the Modified level! Rain and Mario’s journey began while Mario was a sale horse in Caroline Pamucku’s program, and Rain the assistant rider! Once Rain had the opportunity to compete Mario a handful of times she knew she couldn’t let him go. In May of 2024 Rain finally was able to buy him with the help of some amazing owners, and have goals for competing in Mario’s first CCI2*S level in spring of 2026!

  • Threat Level Midnight

“Rogue'“ is a 2013 Thoroughbred mare with lots of spunk and opinions! When Rain was working for Tik and Sinead Maynard, Rain hopped on Rogue a few times for her friend and coworker Abby Dennis, Rogue’s previous owner, to help her out with Rogue. They immediately made a connection and Rain had the opportunity to buy Rogue from Abby! After some down time and lots of groundwork and love, Rain and Rogue are looking forward to getting back out on the eventing circuit next spring!

  • Wimpy Kid

“Wimpy” is a 2012 Thoroughbred that Rain competed up to the CCI2*S level! Rain bought Wimpy from his owner in 2019, and brought him from the Novice level up! Wimpy is now competing at the Intermediate level with his new person, Lauren Salgueiro in Southern California, and make a fantastic team. Rain couldn’t have found a better home for Wimpy to continue thriving!

  • Limited Access

Rain’s first FEI horse, “Eliot”, is a 2001 Thoroughbred she brought up from the Novice level all the way to the CCI2*L Level and were individuals for the Area 1 NAJYRC team in 2017 at Rebecca Farms in Kalispell, Montana! Eliot is probably the toughest horse Rain’s ridden, but taught her the most. They won multiple prelims and area championships together, and Rain will always cherish Eliot for the best start to her career and love of the upper levels of the sport. Eliot is still competing at 24 years old in Canada, and looking fit and handsome as ever!

  • July's Gem

Rain’s first horse, “Ruby”, a 2000 Morgan x Thoroughbred, is Rain’s favorite horse. From almost falling off at their first show at their home barn at Green Acres when Rain was 12, to competing and winning Area 1 Championships two years in a row, Rain and Ruby’s love for eachother was so strong. They also went all the way to texas to compete at AEC’s in Texas in 2014. Ruby is still running around with kids at 25, and probably will be till she’s 30! The best and craziest pony, but so much talent and the best underdog.
